Idag fick jag äntligen se säsongens första pärlemormoln. Dessa moln bildas i stratosfären (15 - 25 000 meter över havet) och när solen är på väg ner, reflekteras solljuset i dessa moln på ett regnbågsliknande sätt. Molnen ändrar väldigt snabbt storlek och form och det är en mäktig upplevelse att se dessa moln uppträda på himlen. Den nedersta bilden visar en närbild av det största molnet i den övre bilden.

Today I finally got to see this season's first Nacreous clouds. These clouds forms in the stratosphere (15 - 25 000 meters above sea level) and when the sun is going down, the sunlight reflects in the clouds. They change size and shape very fast and it's a wonderful experience to see them in the sky. The bottom image shows a close-up of the biggest cloud in the upper image.
